Our prices are firmly mid-range for the Washington, D.C., area. You will find companies that run the gamut, and we respect the need for budget to come into play when making plans.

However, the old axiom, “You Get What You Pay For,” is quite true in the college admissions process. This is an investment into the future, one that can yield numerous acceptance letters, scholarship offers and internship opportunities. Additionally, the skills we teach are relevant and necessary for success in college and the job market. We urge clients to keep this in mind when factoring in budgetary concerns.

We are also unique in our flexible payment schedule: we let clients pay in installments, and even on a per-session basis, if necessary. The big factory-type companies don’t allow that- they want to sell you a package of lessons (which we also do not do), regardless of your student’s needs, and they want payment upfront.


Our company focuses on the individual, personalized student more than any other preparatory company. Our prices reflect not just the hourly tutoring rate, but the large amount of time we spend out-of-session doing the following:

  • driving to and from sessions
  • vehicle maintenance from all of our driving
  • emailing and calling parents and students with updates
  • lesson planning and prep work
  • creating new materials on a student-by-student basis
  • test grading and analysis
  • running the business side of things so the tutoring side can run smoothly

With our tutors, we don’t just think about your student during our scheduled 1.5 to 2 hours a week. We are constantly working to ensure they are having the most enjoyable, efficient and results-driven experience they can.
