EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING/STUDY SKILLS COACHING SUPPORT

We customize programs dependent on individual students’ needs. Some examples of what we assist students in developing independently:

  • Setting up and keeping calendars/planners (online or paper-based)

  • Setting up alerts/time reminders/cues for assignments and appointments

  • Study Skill Techniques: Cornell method of notetaking, Pomodoro technique, graphic organizers, writing outlines, task/assignment breakdowns

  • Mental and verbal techniques to reduce anxiety, plan ahead, and vocalize fears and then problem-solve and conquer them

  • Tips on attaining and maintaining focus

  • How to self-advocate for oneself with teachers and professionals

  • how to build academic profiles, extra-curriculars, and resumes for post-secondary education

  • Sessions can be flexibly scheduled and prorated. We do sessions from 15 minutes to three hours, dependent on your preference!
